Hi and welcome to Kids Jam.
I'm Kira Willey, and I'm so happy you're here.
You know, we can all make music in lots of different ways.
We can use our voices, we can clap our hands, we can tap our feet.
We could play an instrument.
At kids jam, we are all about making music.
And today we get to make music with Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets.
They're going to sing songs about our families, about growing up, and they'll get us singing along and clapping our hands too.
A little later, we'll head to the music room with some friends to create some of our own music and do some movement and mindfulness, too.
But right now, get ready to jam with Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets.
Thanks, Kira.
One, two, let's go!
Hi there.
So happy to see you.
My name is Tim.
This is Emily.

Hi, Matt.
Matt is playing the guitar.
I'm playing the guitar.
And we're going to be making music with you.
You can clap your hands, stomp your feet.
We like to make music all together.
We like to perform music and think about all different times we're performing.
Actually, this first song is about the first time that I ever performed, making music or doing a play.
My class put on a big play and I played a very important part in the play.
I was the tree in the play.
Actually, could you pretend to be a tree?
Can we take our arms, put them out to the side just like this?
Very nice.
And then when it's time, all you do is you shake them up, you get them loose like that.
And that's called the tree dance.
We'll let you know when that comes in.
But right now, can we clap our hands like this?
