People in the LGBTQ communy are getting more answers to questions involving the Covid-19 vaccine during Pre Month.
Pride Month is a time where celebrate, but we also remr some of the hardships that we've gone through as a community.
The Pennsylvania Commission LGBTQ Affairs recently invd medical professionals from across the state to join a Facebook Live called VACC Sarah Rossow of the commisn told those taking the HIV Prevention Medication Prepo continue doing so even when getting vaccinated.
And there are no reported interactions at this time between prep and Covid-19 vaccines.
When you stop taking your medications especially we'e thinking about prep and orV medications, that puts yout greater risk for HIV relatd illnesses and greater riskr serious infection due to Covid-19 some question if e taking gender affirming hormones and getting a Cov9 vaccine have a higher riskr blood clots.
